He began foamcrafting in the Spring of 2020 as a way to stay busy during the first Covid-19 lockdowns. His first projects were masks for his kids, and trophies for his Extra Life charity donors. In August of 2021, he competed for the first time and won the Best Novice Foam Craft award at Planet Comicon in Kansas City. In 2023, he entered his 2nd competition, in the intermediate level at Planet Comicon, and was bumped up to win Best Master Foam Work. He loves learning new techniques and passing knowledge on to other crafters.
